questions.
Here’s the lowdown on their little box.
What happens when I join the early backers list?
You’re signing up for emails from Barney Goose about Gramo’s early backers campaign and launch. Joining is free. It doesn’t place an order, reserve a unit, or charge you anything.
Can I buy a Gramo yet?
Gramo is in pre-launch. Join the early backers list to follow the campaign and hear when backing opens. Planned pricing is $130 for one Gramo or $250 for two.
So… what exactly is a Kid Pod?
A Kid Pod is a group of friends, cousins, or grandparents who exchange voice messages through Gramo. Every message goes to the whole group. Parents manage membership through the iOS or Android app.
Do the kids need a phone?
No. Kids record and listen on their Gramo. The iOS and Android app is for parents to manage the Pod and message limits. Each Gramo connects through Wi-Fi.
How many messages can they send?
The initial default is one message per kid per day, up to two minutes long. Parents can decide how many messages their kid can send, including allowing multiple messages a day.
Do all the kids need to be there at once?
No. Gramo is asynchronous: kids leave a message, and friends listen later. If a kid is away on vacation, they can check their messages when they come home.
What does Gramo Connect cost?
Your first three months are included. After that, Gramo Connect is $5 per unit per month, with a maximum of $30 per Kid Pod per month. A Pod with six units is $30 per month; a Pod with eight units is still $30 per month.
Who can add or remove kids?
Parents manage Pod membership in the Gramo app for iOS and Android. You use the app to add or remove members.
How much is the Gramo itself?
Planned pricing is $130 for one Gramo or $250 for two. Both options include the first three months of Gramo Connect for each unit. Join the early backers list to hear when backing opens.
